Coupons
If you have a coupon code it is important to understand that you can only use it to purchase items in ScouterPage.com inventory. When you are ready to purchase an item you must use the "Add to Cart" button in order to take advantage of the coupon. You then enter the coupon code when you are ready to check-out on the ScouterPage.com Shopping Cart page.
Purchases made by using the Amazon.com "Buy Now" button and purchases of non-ScouterPage.com inventory items are not eligible for coupon discounts.
Your cannot combine coupon offers. You can only use one coupon offer per order.
Payment
We provide two options for payments on ScouterPage.com:
Option 1 - Amazon Payments If you want to purchase only one item, you can click on the "Buy Now" link. This will take you directly to our partner Amazon.com and your order will be processed through their payment system. Once you get to Amazon, you can continue shopping on Amazon until you are ready to check out.
There are several drawbacks to this method of checking out:
Option 2 - PayPal If you want to purchase more than one item, or you wish to use our Shopping Cart feature as you are doing your shopping, then click on the "Add to Cart" button. Once you are ready to check out, just click on "View Cart" at the top of every page, and you can proceed to pay for your purchase.
Payments for your purchases from our Shopping Cart are handled by PayPal. PayPal is a free, secure payment processing system that accepts all major credit and debit cards. You do not need to be a PayPal member to use this service.
Shipping
ScouterPage.com ships orders daily, Monday through Friday, via the US Postal Service. Most orders received by 9:00am Eastern Time (USA) Monday through Friday are shipped the following business day. All orders are packed in professional-standard polyethylene bubble mailers or in cardboard boxes with bubble wrap, as appropriate.
We offer free or discounted shipping fees for domestic (USA) and international customers. All orders receive free USPS domestic tracking (delivery confirmation).
Domestic Expedited For domestic expedited shipping, we use USPS Priority Mail, which the USPS says "average 2-3 business days."
Charges are $3 per first item.
Domestic Standard For domestic standard shipping on items 7oz and less (very small books, CDs and some other small items), we use USPS First Class Mail which the USPS says "average 2-3 business days."
For domestic standard shipping on items over 7oz, we use USPS Media Mail or USPS Parcel Post, which the USPS says "average 2-9 business days."
Domestic standard shipping is free.
International Shipping For International shipping, we use Global First Class Mail or Global Priority Mail, which the USPS says "average 4-10 business days."
Charges for standard shipping are $13 for the first book or $6 for the first other item, and $2 for each additional item.
Charges for expedited shipping are $18 for the first book or $10 for the first other item, and $4 for each additional item.
Tracking and Delivery We provide free domestic USPS Delivery Confirmation (tracking) on all packages. Once your item ships, we send you a shipping confirmation email with your USPS tracking number. Check the status of your package by entering the tracking number at USPS.com.
Please be advised that for domestic shipments USPS is only required to scan your package at the acceptance and final delivery points, so you may not be able to accurately track its progress as it makes its way to you. For internation shipments, USPS unfortunately has a very spotty record regarding scanning packages while in transit within the USA, and they provide NO tracking information once the package leaves the USA.
We apologize, but ScouterPage.com cannot provide you with any more information on the status of your delivery than you will find on the USPS.com web site.
Of course, all of these delivery times are estimates, and actual delivery times may be much slower due to factors out of our control. Delivery times will almost certainly be slower during the peak Christmas shipping season and around USPS holidays.
Returns
We understand that sometimes returns are inevitable, and we guarantee your satisfaction on every transaction.
If there is a problem with your order, or if you just need to return an item to us, please email us within 14 days of your receipt of the item. We will give you instructions on how to return it at that time.
If we have done something wrong or if your item was damaged in shipment, please give us the chance to set things right with you. Send us an email, and we will respond to you promptly. Thank you! |
